The Vacuum Tray Dryer enables total moisture vaporization and product drying. It is appropriate for drying thermally sensitive materials that are quickly resolved, polymerized, or degraded at higher temperatures.
The materials to be dried are placed on trays within the vacuum tray dryer, and pressure is decreased using a vacuum pump. Sterilization can be performed before drying, during which no matter is permitted to enter the product. The dryer door is firmly closed, and steam is fed through the gap between the trays and the jacket, allowing heat transmission by conduction.
